Years ago I was working with a local entrepreneur who offered massages, personal training, and nutritional advice.
My first impression was that she was doing way too much and was spreading herself too thin.
She insisted that this was working for her, but in reality she was struggling.
Her idea was that since she was struggling in one service, she would keep on adding other services and generate multiple streams of income.
I did an exercise with her on identifying all her services and audiences. This made her realize that she was trying to do too much.
It resulted in her drastically narrowing down her offerings and target audiences.
